Willow Journey: Art Journal

Hello Sunflowers! While working through the Soul Lodge course I've been trying to make time to record my findings visually. My art journal is becoming a sacred place where I spill out dreamscapes and pen letters to self. This past week we were asked to connect with a sacred plant: I chose Willow.


I'm drawn to their motion, their apparent ability to emote, the quiet rushing sound they make and their closeness to the water. There is a large twisted willow in my parents yard that used to be a second home to my siblings and neighbor boys.

We were sure she was magic. :)
