And its a power ballad! That's right folks, The Saturdays have delivered pop anthem 'Notorious' laced with dubstep influences and infectious dance hit 'All Fired Up' as their first two singles from their upcoming fourth album but now its the era of the ballad for the third offering entitled 'My Heart Takes Over'.
Of course Una, Vanessa, Rochelle, Mollie and Frankie are no strangers to the heart pulling love songs serving up previous smash hits with the likes of 'Issues' and 'Missing You', The Sats know how to give a good power ballad when the opportunity presents itself.
That opportunity is now. Regardless of what rumours are floating around about an alleged Saturdays two year break following Una Healy's recently announced pregnancy with rugby ace Ben Foden. The Sats took to twitter to dispel such rumours claiming their diaries are fully booked for the next full year at least.
Don't worry girls we believe you! Tell it to the haters! More importantly promote this track as its brilliant. Its intense, has the vocals and production to back it up and features a rather epic shout out from Vanessa that almost made me lose my balance. Girl's got a set on her!
The girls' new track 'My Heart Takes Over' debuted this morning at 8.15am getting its first radio airplay via Chris Moyles on BBC Radio 1. Team Sats are set to shoot the accompanying video for their new single tomorrow in Iceland. The song gets its official release November 13.
If you missed Moyles' show take a listen to the emotional track from The Saturdays in its entirety below.
