The Cold War: A Fashion Fight Off Part 2

The weeks are slowly moving forward as we head for the end of September and the beginning of October with the tail end of a hurricane hitting the UK last week The Cold War: Fashion Fight Off is more crucial than ever. This time in the ring fighting it out for the best A/W collection is the high-street king Topman and on the designer end we have Tommy Hilfiger.

Being a Topman regular aka if Topman was heroin I would be its day by day dealer, I have to say I've become rather disappointed with their current clothing they have on offer. Fake fur and loose fitting trousers are just not my thing guys, but fortunately its not a complete right off.

Heritage blazers, brogue boots and colored skinny jeans are just what the cold weather ordered and must have additions to your current wardrobe tailoring with Oxford style shirts and bow ties for geek chic.

Tommy Hilfiger is everything I love in a Fall Collection due its preppy cuts, collegiate styling and fraternity flavour. Collegiate cardigans and jumpers featuring the 'Big H' are definite musts with the variant heritage blazers sharpening the look.

The clear winner then is obviously Tommy over Topman right now making the over all score Designer 2, highstreet 0. Stay tuned for part 3.

Take a look at Topman's A/W Collection 2011 below.
