New Pussycat Doll TV Show Directed By...

Wait for it...none other than reality TV Queen/Nicole Scherzinger look-alike Kim Kardashian. TMZ reported that the Kardashian sister signed a deal with once upon a time Pop Idol judge Nigel Lythgoe for an executive producer role on a show revolving around the launch of the new Pussycat Dolls recording group.

Its no secret the newlywed is rather close pals with original Doll and creator Robin Antin for those who follow the pair on twitter. Antin herself previously debuted two successful shows under the headlines The Pussycat Dolls Present: Search For The Next Doll (Said Doll never actually joined the group btw) and The Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search For Girlicious (only one girl remains in the group).

More importantly, Antin is probably hoping the general public will think Kimmy is Nicole, praying they will fail to recognise she let her most prized possession slip through her botoxed fingers into the arms of a certain Simon Cowell.

TMZ also reported one anonymous source as stating the new line-up are '10 times better than the original group'. Funny that, since Robin Antin has previously went on record to claim PCD 2.0 contains three really 'great' singers who can dance along with three 'really amazing' dancers.

So PCD 1.0 aka Nic, Mel and Carmit plus Kim, Jess and Ash only they decided to front Nicole as the lead. Let's hope they have learned from their mistakes in the PCD camp or it will be more than buttons getting loosened.

Kim Kardashian has performed with the Pussycat Dolls Burlesque troupe live in Las Vegas way back in 2008. The Pussycat Dolls 2.0 are set to release new music in the coming year.

Take a look at Kim learning how to be a Doll with Robin Antin and PCD choreographer Mikey Minden on 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' below.
