GQ Men of The Year Awards 2011

Pretty much everyone who matters in the World was out in force last night at The 14th Annual GQ Men of The Year Awards in association with Dunhill held at The Royal Operahouse London last night.

Sadly the men turned out to be a bit of a let down when it came to the style department landing on the red carpet in a sea of disappointing black tuxedos which for an event showcasing the men of the year seems hilariously ironic.

With the exception of the One Direction lads who took inspiration from The Beatles it seems in matching suits and the lovely Will Young who opted for a more vintage vibe with a black turtle neck, grey slim fit trousers and a plain coat. Feels like jealousy from this end!

Of course it wasn't all about the boys...also in attendance were The Saturdays looking rather futuristic in a mix of blacks, bold metallics and prints. Pixie Lott was another keeping it slick in a black number whilst X-Factor's Leona Lewis soared in a flowing white sleeveless numbered tapered in at the waist.

One other notable red carpet success came in the form of presenter Jameela Jamil who walked the walk in the classic LBD with a twist (a black mesh add on creating length and stylish sophistication).

UK sensation Tinie Tempah walked away with Solo Artist of The Year, Tommy Hilfiger was crowned Designer of The Year whilst The Hangover's Bradley Cooper picked up the award for International Man of The Year and Rory McIlroy was honored as Best Sportsman of the Year.
