Newcomer and all out success story that is American singer Lana Del Rey, has landed the prestigious cover spot in Vogue UK's upcoming March issue.
Whilst critics Stateside have slammed the sultry singer, Vogue's British Editor Alexandra Shulman is backing her all the way writing, "I am many of the thousands of people enraptured by the throaty, seductive voice of Lana Del Rey...Once I had seen Lana play at a small event in London, I was convinced that she would be a great Vogue cover girl, even though she is probably one of the newest stars in her field that the magazine has ever had on the cover.”

The cover and accompanying spread was shot by Mario Testino with Lana Del Rey sporting a variety of Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Including a daisy embroidered lemon dress with a white contrasting collar fitting in perfectly with Lana's love of all things retro.
