London Fashion Weekend: Prim Rose & Antipodium

Playing a bit of Lana Del Rey and some old school Motown to set the mood, Prim Rose and Antipodium followed Holly Fulton on the Catwalk at Vodafone's London Fashion Weekend held at Somerset House.

Experimenting with dreamy hazy pastels mixing sorbet shades with ivory and enamels to create a clean, Summer palette. Silhouettes were traditional 'prim' and proper, cute and classic. Lace embroidery, peter-pan collars and with a menswear look straight from The Talented Mr Ripley, Prim Rose presented a whirlwind of Summer city chic.

Then came Antipodium by Geoffrey J Finch. Applying a modern sophisticated aesthetic thriving with the wealth of pop culture references. Finch labels his work 'tongue-in-chic' creating 'witty and unapologetically seductive' fashion.

The collection itself was entitled 'Interiors' taking inspiration from the 1978 Woody Allen film of the same name. Exploring the relationships between family members, their evolution and their the occasional argument. Also known as the “delicious disquiet beneath the surface of family life”

Take a look at Antipodium's Spring/Summer 2012 Collection below.
