In the run-up to the impending Oscars, the stars were out in force last night at the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards in Santa Monica, California.
Michelle Williams flies in straight at the top of the style chart in a Navy blue double breasted blazer with contrasting lapels and matching high-waisted shorts. The My Week With Marilyn star opted to pair with a white crisp and clean silk blouse. Zoe Saldana also did not disappoint in a chic sixties inspired floral number.
Meanwhile Jurassic Park's Laura Dern surprised in a more casual get-up of a floral chiffon maxi, sandals and a cropped ocean blue denim jacket. I liked the look as far as Spring/Summer is concerned...just not sure its really Purple Carpet appropriate. Laura looks stunning regardless.
Zac Efron has unfortunately shaved the stubble. Sad times. I still WOULD though as he still looked great all suited and booted. He can drop a condom on me any day. So can Alexander Skarsgard for that matter who donned a navy sheen blazer and a white shirt. Then there was Chris Pine in Armani. Swoon.
