Hosted by this month's cover star Alexa Chung and dressed in Stella McCartney, Elle's 2012 Style Awards took place this evening in the prestigious Savoy Hotel.
Brits and Yanks alike were dressed to the nines for the Red Carpet event but it was Christina Ricci who was by far the belle of Elle in a black Jonathon Saunders number. Another style shout outs go to Rita Ora in J.W. Anderson abstract printed maxi.
The men in attendance were of equal credit. Eddie Redmayne donned yet another Burberry offering. This time of the woolen tweed variety. One can't complain really. After all if we were in his situation we would be milking all the freebies one acquires as the poster boy for a major fashion label as well.
Meanwhile former Mr Mollie King/Model eye candy David Gandy opted for a grey tweed blazer with a matching double breasted waistcoat and slick brown trousers. A look complimented by a classic white shirt/black tie combo.
Presenter Nick Grimshaw sported a metallic blue suit with matching tie. With host Alexa Chung following suit for the after party donning a gold long-sleeved cocktail dress.
