After a couple of years of hiding American Idol's equivalent of the First Lady is back with a bang on new track 'Let Me Down'.
Reminiscent of her earlier work such as 'Low' and 'Behind These Hazel Eyes' Kelly has found her voice again as the Since You've Been Gone singer sounds like her old self once more and I for one couldn't be happier for the Original American Idol.
Seems I'm not the only one. Popcrush posted "the Clarkster gets four stars for awesomeness", whilst Thatgrapejuice kept it short an sweet simply stating "We like." Of course notorious Kelly Clarkson hater Perez Hilton did not agree posting online "We don't mind that she's gone in a rockier direction, but she just hasn't done it well." Yes she has.
Sounding very much like a Pink heartbreaker, 'Let Me Down' is very much a pop/rock offering and will hopefully feature on Kelly's as-yet-untitled upcoming fifth studio album set for an October release.
