Quite some time has passed since we last heard of any new material from Leona Lewis following her less than successful sophomore effort 'Echo' released in November 2009, but it seems the Run singer is on course for a bit of a re-invention of sorts with new dance inspired track 'Collide' that even features an Afrojack remixed version.
Sounding very much like a Kelly Rowland/Alexis Jordan number, 'Collide' is a far cry away from previous efforts by Miss Lewis. Now all we need to do is push some personality into those powerful lungs and she will be set for life!
The X-Factor Queen appeared on Ferne Cotton's Radio One Live Lounge last month performing an acoustic reggae rendition of her hit single 'Better In Time' which the Bleeding Love singer mashed with Rihanna's 'Man Down' and Labrinth's 'Let The Sun Shine'. Much like her new single, I for one was quite surprised at how well it turned out.
Leona's new track appeared on her Youtube channel July 15. The award winning Brit is said to have worked with the likes of Ryan Tedder, David Guetta and Rico Love for her third offering with Neyo and Jessie J having been asked to submit material for the project set to hit stores later this year.
Take a listen to Leona's comeback 'Collide' remixed by Afrojack below.
