Cher Lloyd Previews Album Tracks

With the release of Cher Lloyd's first single 'Swagger Jagger' looming ever closer, the X-factor finalist has debuted a few new tracks from her upcoming album and they are actually not half bad.

The singer/rapper is generally one of the world's hated new artists right now, even facing death threats on a daily basis, but that doesn't seem to have phased the young starlet who previewed five new songs online earlier today including an HQ snippet of electronic, up-tempo, ballad 'Superhero' previously glimpsed acoustically via Perezhilton.com.

The remaining four tracks are 'Grow Up' which features Busta Rhymes and sounds very much like a Lily Allen old school jam making it my current favourite from the line up. Whilst 'Dub On The Track' with its obvious dub-step inspiration comes in a close second as the fresh, feel-good anthem 'Over The Moon' which combines soft vocals and edgy raps is something unexpected from the 'Swagger Jagger' singer. The only song that failed to stand out is 'With Ur Love', a slightly dull collaboration with Mike Posner but I will hold out judgement until the full track is available.

All in all I'm rather pleasantly surprised at was young Miss Cher Lloyd has delivered thus far...keep it up and you may have yourself a good debut album kiddo.

Cher's first solo single 'Swagger Jagger' drops August 1 with her debut solo album hitting the shelves in November.

Take a listen to the album track previews below.
