Beyonce Knowles. Two words that make every single living person on this planet stop in their tracks...and rightly so if B's new video for 'Best Thing I Never Had' is anything to go by.
The video premiered online yesterday and is basically breathtaking. Its simple yet stunning, directed by Diane Martel who is well known for her work with the likes of Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera. Its remarkable how Beyonce can go from a non-stop cinematic eye catching video that was Run The World (Girls) to a clip compiled of literally Beyonce standing and singing into the screen and the woman still has your full undivided attention.
I'm calling this effect The Power of Beyonce...it might also be a future Glee episode. Who knows?
The song itself is about being better off without the complete tool that was your ex. In the words of Lady Gaga herself "Tell em B". Irreplace 2.0 anyone?
Beyonce is currently impacting charts worldwide, set to perform at Oxegen this weekend and will be performing at T in The Park later this month.
