Fashion Zombie: Glitter & T-Shirt Murder

Hello Cream Puffs!* Lately I've been playing with fashion--it seems like an under utilized means of making art on the daily. It's all about picking colors and textures, pairing pieces and putting them on display: that's art everyday. And since I am a Polish princess and try to keep to the cheap, garbage has been a go-to resource. These are some of my latest trashy to flashy craft-capades:

Earrings that Tank girl would be proud of: I sliced up a old hell-hole of a striped T-Shirt into teeny tiny strips and attached them to an existing pair of earrings I got from my grandmas house. They weigh nothing and have a lot of great movement! Project total: $FREE .99

More T-Shirt carnage: I cut up an unwearable shirt into one continuous strip, wrapped it up like an extension cord and tied off the end in the back. It's a necklace! It's a scarf! It's Free! It's kinda awesome. :)

I love cheap gaudy jewelry. But since it's cheap it has the tendency to fall apart if you even look at it the wrong way. This ring made it through one wear before the stone fell out--so I revived it with a little glue and GLITTER! Yes, my pretty, LIVE!!

What kind of couture mayhem are you up to these days? Have a favorite cheap piece that you love to death? Plans to make something sweet as pie?
