Looks like Nicole Scherzinger's heavy schedule is taking its toll on the former Lead Pussycat Doll if her latest performance on American Idol is anything to go by.
Scherzinger is currently promoting her debut album 'Killer Love' here in the UK, kicking off promo in the US and hosting the US version of the X-factor set to air on Fox this fall but managing to stop in for a flying visit, Nicole took to the centre stage on Idol performing new reggae inspired track 'Right There' which serves as the first release across the pond since leaving the Dolls behind.
The choreography was the best Idol has seen this season, but Scherzinger lacked her usual empathic stage presence not backed up by her rather lethargic vocals especially the long note near the end. One user commented on Youtube regarding Nicole's rather dull performance, "did she forget how to perform? what append?" whilst another wrote "ME NO LIKEY...this is not single worthy..this song is boring."
The Don't Cha singer was also joined by the track's collaborator rapper 50 Cent who Nicole couldn't get away from quick enough even pushing her hand out at him before completely forgetting he was there at all. Right There in fact. No Likey. Awkward much?
The Boombox.com wrote, "50 tried to grind up against the former Pussycat Doll, but to no avail, as he was quickly, and hilariously, brushed off by the raven-haired bombshell."
Right There was released in both the UK and the US simultaneously May 17.
Check out the uneventful performance by Nicole below.
