Made in Chelsea: Get the Look

E4's new reality (debatable) show Made In Chelsea is a far cry from ITV2's The Only Way is Essex setting the scene as a UK version of the Hills with its cast of fashionistas, singers, models, country gentlemen oh and Francis the CEO of his own Diamond company. They have it all, the looks, the cash but most importantly they have the clothes that come with it.

The latest episode found the Chelsea crew swapping the streets of London for a little round of clay pigeon shooting at CJ's (Caggie's possible love interest) country estate. Cue ego boosting, posh-girl fights and some elegant flirtation thrown in for good measure.

Stop and ponder for a moment to ask oneself 'what exactly does one wear to a country state affair?' Its aristocratic at the very core, blending country gentlemen with classic British trends. So basically tweed and a neck tie.

Classic British styles are something I often tend to incorporate into my own wardrobe. This tweed checked Granddad collared shirt courtesy of last Summer's Topman Ltd Designer Collection does the job paired with chinos, a nautical belt from H&M and a River Island Collegiate blazer to complete the look.

For a more casual setting, dressing down is key. Keep the chinos. Take away the blazer and shirt swapping it for a polo shirt (H&M 9.99) and a collegiate cardigan (New Look £8) creating a Polo Player image.
Of course clay pigeon shooting wasn't the only event the MIC gang attended oh no because they like to give back to the community being so well off themselves and what better way to do so than a man auction in aid of the blind?

Obviously if you are Ollie (a wall dedicated to Elton John is more heterosexual than Ollie) you might wear a rather expensive designer union jack inspired blazer. If you are everybody else you keep it clean cut and classic. Two integral elements set the ordinary suit styling apart here, the silk neck scarf and the handkerchief.

There you have it. Easy as warm apple pie or as they say in Chelsea...em easy as warm apple pie?

MIC star Caggie was recently involved in a twitter war with TOWIE's Amy Childes following Amy's tweet stating the MIC crew were in desperate need of some vejazzeling. Caggie's response was to simply point out that at least her diamonds would be real and she threw in a love at the end for dramatic affect. Meow.

Made In Chelsea airs Monday nights 10pm on E4. Take a look at the trailer below.
