World renowned hip hop group BEP took to the main stage last night on British talent search So You Think You Can Dance performing new single 'Don't Stop the Party'. All I can say is who died and made Sky-net king?
Remember when all the BEP asked was a simple question regarding 'Where is the Love?' Well to quote a certain Alex Guadino, after the love is gone all that is left is a robotic humanoid in the shape of Will I Am who has not only taken over 90% of the groups' vocals but has changed every single line into a vocoder/autoned message with one goal in mind...the death of John Connor.
Will I Am has changed the BEP into a complete and utter machine and I am not alone in this theory. Sarah Connor is on board too.
The performance itself lacked any enthusiasm. Yes it had a fancy dj booth. Yes it had strobe lighting and yes they were kitted out in the finest futuristic get up William's money can buy but it failed to showcase the main talent i.e the entire group.
One fan posted on the mega group's video for the track on Youtube "It's official, the Black Eyed Peas have sold out. If you don't believe me, listen to all four albums the group has (with Fergie) and listen to the difference between 1+2 and 3+4, latin pop, now just techno. *sighs*"
I couldn't agree more.
'Don't Stop The Party' was release to Itunes May 10. Check out the official video for the track and the woeful SYTYCD live performance below.
