We are really lucky with the deli. We have some of the best neighbours! We have really local locals! And one of them asked me to make one of her favourite biscuits from New Zealand, Afghan biscuits. I love that the customers ask me to make their favourite sweets. I really love trying to make what they ate as kids. I love watching the glee in them tasting it. That is just another reason why I love

So when the call went out from Melissa Goodsell from One Crafty Mumma on twitter I jumped on the chance. And this is what I have come up with! (And thankyou to Kate from 2littlebanshees for the addition of the

Blueberry Bread and Butter Pudding

I need to be quick and get this recipe in before it really turns Spring and we are onto trifles and summer puddings.

This recipe is so easy and quick for that last minute dessert. You can use any fruit or chocolate(!) and just let the cream pour over it and ooze into the crispy toasty bread.

Do you have a favourite dessert to whip up at the moment? Do you love bread and butter pudding like me?

Chocolate Mud makes everything okay

How many chocolate cake recipes do you have?

And how many do you use?

I use one. This one. If you find one that you love and just can't find one to better it use it always and then just alter the finished product and look. Sometimes I use one big cake ring. Othertimes I use a bundt tin. Or, like this one I used 3 small tins and then layered it with chocolate frosting, covered it in EVEN MORE

The Great Biscuit Challenge - Hundreds and Thousands Biscuits

I use to love these biscuits as a kid. I don't remember having them except for at birthday parties.

What is your favourite Aussie Biscuit? We might have a bash at making them if you want!

So for the second Biscuit Challenge I chose these biscuits.

The method that I worked on when I was making this biscuit recipe was that I wanted a shortbread that wasn't overly buttery but still soft on

I am an Aunty to a gorgeous little niece, Casey and also a nephew, Nathan. "Alphie the Comforter" was made from Fleecie Dolls by Fiona Goble and was nice and easy for someone like me who is learning to sew! He is sitting in a piece of

old and loved

I met my mentor on a tv show. It was called My Restaurant Rules. It was in 2005.Deb and I have worked together on and off again since then until she had a car accident in 2008.  Ever since I have known Debra I have always loved the steel that she used to sharpen her knives.
It is old and loved; the handle is wooden and it twists together; it is heavy and well loved. It was her dads.
