Alexandra Burke's brand new single 'Elephant' has debuted via Radio 1 yesterday and the dance electronic/dub-step track is pretty slick on it.
Although the auto-tune has been used and abused taking Alexandra's raw and powerful vocals in a different direction for this era, it is however made up for by the last epic minute of the almost 4min long song in which her voice is allowed room for some much needed showcasing.
Not really what I was expecting for a comeback single to support a sophomore LP, but its decent enough to warrant further listen and is definitely a grower that is sure to set the clubs alight in the coming months especially with the right DJs behind its infectious hooks and beats.
Alexandra premiered the track herself live at Shephard's Bush in London on January 12. Her new single 'Elephant' is released in March.
