Stained Glass Beauties

Amy McCarthy is a British glass artist who creates, designs and restores beautiful stained glass windows from vintage and recycled glass.

STAINED GLASS BOAT MOBILE

3 unique recycled stained glass boats bobbing on a driftwood hanging with a shell decoration and a brass hook.
Made from found pieces of waste recycled glass shaped into little boats are copper foiled and soldered together.
No 2 boats are ever the same as I only make these from recycled glass.
They look great bobbing and spinning in the breeze
25 cm (10 inch) wide
32 cm (12.5 inch) long

STAINED GLASS WINDOW DECORATION, RAINBOW PINWHEEL

Striking window decoration made from found pieces of recycled stained glass pieced together into pleasing pin wheels, they make gorgeous rainbow coloured pools of light on the floor when the light shines through them

The 3 wheels are made using the copper foil/Tiffany technique and strung together with strong fishing line. The piece hangs from my brand ribbon and is finished with a wooden bead.

STRIPEY STAINED GLASS BUNTING

Fantastic in a sunny window or in the garden as a party or wedding decoration!
I had lots of fun making these cheerful bunting flags. Each pack comes with 5, 10 cm long flags strung on thick contrasting ribbon with loops at the end for easy hanging. Each flag is unique and made from reclaimed waste stained glass in a rainbow of colours and constructed using the copper foil technique.

Cheers!
