Last night I was talking to my youngest son who lives on King Island, part of Tasmania. He was telling me about this crazy old lady who lives out of town and makes hats out of feral cats. He was a bit disturbed by her because of all the cat carcasses she has drying on the fence along the road. I, of course wanted some pictures straight away, but he wasn't to keen. Maybe being a cat lover has something to do with it? Anyway, turns out she sells the hats to tourists and they are quite popular! I jumped on the net this morning to see if I could find her. I didn't, but I did come across this excellent Blog dedicated to outrageous ads.

Stay tuned for more about the cat hats. My sons partner is not quite so attached to cats and is going to take some photos and hunt up some info. Should be interesting, from a certain point of view!
