Michael Fassbender Covers GQ

Star of last year's comic book hit X-Men: First Class and the upcoming critically acclaimed Shame, Irish-German actor Michael Fassbender is February's new GQ cover star.

Of course with every cover shoot comes a delightful inside bonus in which the Hunger actor shows us how to dress like a movie star and how to do it well.

Fassbender also divulged on his 2012 projects back in September discussing his experience at one of Europe's most stylish film festivals, on still getting starstruck, his role in Jane Eyre, advice given to him via numerous directors and naturally his upcoming roles.

2012 is sure to be a big year for the younger Magneto who will be starring alongside Keira Knightley in A Dangerous Method and will be playing an android in Ridley Scott's Alien sequel entitled Prometheus, just to name a few.

Fassbender plays Brandon in Shame, a 30 something New Yorker whose life is spiraling out of control as his addiction to sex grows. Shame premiered at the Venice Film Festival and was co-written and directed by Steve McQueen. The film is set for a UK release on January 13. GQ's February issue is out January 5.

Take a look at Fassbender in action in the trailer for Shame below.
