Kate Middleton's Majestic Dresses

Forget about Katherine Heigl and her 27 frocks, its all about the Duchess of Cambridge Catherine Middleton who turned 30 today and to celebrate here's 15 dresses (half of 30) that the stunning Royal rocked the Nation with in 2011 keeping it cool, understated and simplistic at all times. Just how it should be.

The Wedding: Featuring the Alexander McQueen numbers and the evening ensembles. And of course how could one leave out the Reiss nanette engagement dress showcased in Kate and Will's official engagement photographs. Then came the channeling of Princess Diana for the engagement announcement in a blue Issa dress. Following that the Duchess donned another Reiss number this time in a nude shade in the form of a 1950s inspired piece as Kate met with the Obamas.

Being a Royal means attending prestigious events the world over which naturally requires a variety of evening gown's at one's disposal. Seen here looking radiant in a grey Issa gown, a pink maxi, even attending the ARK 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner in London, Kate Middleton in a sensational Jenny Packham Spring 2011 number. A gown Leighton Meister (Blair Wardolf) herself showcased on her popular television series Gossip Girl. Kate seems to be taken with Packham's collection, looking radiant for the Foundation Polo Challenge event in a silver and marble grey hand-painted chinoiserie silk dress. Another fashion fav is Kate's lavender silk layered evening gown with fitted waist detail.

Kate does however keep it chic on occasion in this Erdem navy lace number and even lets her hair down in some high-end floral print for a night out. Keeps it casual in a minimal black dress whilst shopping in London before going back to a red elegant full length gown by Beulah London for a fashion benefit. Then its back to basics in a long-sleeved grey belted knee length frock that screams English Lady.
