Skipper Butterfly - A Summer Treasure

This is a skipper from a few years back. For me - skippers are the HARDEST butterflies to ID - LOTS of them look quite the same. To be honest - before I started "seeing" more with the camera I didn't even notice these little guys, much less realize that they were butterflies. Wednesday Wings with Summertime Bokeh

Tuesday dawned dark and dreary and Wednesday will be more of the same. We are expecting 2-3 inches of rain with wind. So I thought I would share a summertime image! As much as I like the monarch butterfly, I think I like the background bokeh in this pic just as much.
