Labrinth: A Style Guru

UK producer/singer Labrinth has already racked up a number one and a number two hit with pal Tinie Tempah and even managed a top three hit with his own record Let The Sun Shine, but when it comes to style and fashion, Lab hits the top spot every time.

Its often difficult to describe this man's style but instead of describing it or putting it into one particular niche I think its safe to say its diverse, original and creative at the very core. His most notable being his appearance at the Brit Awards back in February where the Pass Out singer wore a rust, velvet suit paired with knee high socks and white laced brogues. An outfit a country gentleman could only dream of pulling off. Yet here Lab is doing his thing, effortlessly.

He also missed out on standing on stage at the event alongside collaborator Tinie due to an unfortunate trip to the bathroom. On the bright side, Lab somehow managed to arrange to work with both Mark Ronson and Paloma Faith as a result of said bathroom trip so it wasn't all doom and gloom.

Then there's his yellow colour blocking ensemble at Capital FM. The shirt. The shoes. The polka dot green bow-tie. The mulberry snood. What's not to love? Of course we can't forget his trademark Tom Ford glasses.

And don't even get me started on the man's new video for new single Earthquake. The americano stars and stripes shirt needs to be in my life STAT. Maybe a jedi robe thrown in for good measure while I'm on the subject.

In discussing his experience at London Fashion Week back in September with GQ's Oliver Franklin, the dapper star said, "Topman's always cool." and "The Roberto Cavalli dinner was really cool, met some awesome people and saw a lot of stylish folk there." We bet you did.

Labrinth is signed to Simon Cowell's record label Syco. His new single Earthquake featuring the one and only Tinie Tempah was released on October 23 and is available to download via Itunes. Labrinth's debut album is scheduled for an early 2012 release.
