The BBC's annual British charity appeal, Children In Need, took place on Friday evening and as tradition, the star studded cause saw some very talented acts take to the stage in order to secure those crucial funds that help so many disadvantaged children here in the UK.
The Saturdays looked stunning in their metallic, sparkled evening gowns powering through an amazing live performance of their new single 'My Heart Takes Over' (Frankie included yay).
Whilst X-Factor alumni and X-Tra Factor co-host Olly Murs offered up his number one hit 'My Heart Skips A Beat' alongside song collaborators the Rizzle Kicks (Olly's trademark tight trousers included yay).
Shock factor of the night came from 90s pop-group Steps performance as Faye, H, Lee, Lisa and Clare, recently reformed for a reunion tour, delved into a catalogue of hits performing a sensational medley of One For Sorrow/Deeper Shade of Blue and Tragedy. And they did it live as well. Even Lee sang. Who knew?
This years Children In Need broadcast total came to a staggering 26 million breaking all previous broadcast total records of the past years. The final total has yet to be revealed. The event was presented by Alesha Dixon, Fearne Cotton, Tess Daly and Terry Wogan. One Direction and JLS also performed.
