Northern Ireland's very own Damian McGinty appeared in his first ever Glee episode last night over in the US as the show returned for its fourth episode of its third season following a three week hiatus. Playing the role of Irish exchange student Rory Flanagan, whom Brittany S. Peers believes is a real life leprechaun, McGinty certainly made a magical impression on his first run.
The 18 year old from Derry originally landed the part on the hit Fox show after winning the Glee Project talent contest back in August and is set to challenge Kurt Hummel for his role as the group's soprano. No doubt about it, Damian stole the show performing 'Take Care of Yourself' and 'It Ain't Easy Being Green'.
McGinty was formely the baritone of the group Celtic Thunder. His character Rory Flanagan is set to star in at least seven episodes this season.
