Shayne Ward Heads To Broadway

X-factor 2005 winner Shayne Ward is not one to let being dropped from his label Syco put a stop to his dreams as the the talent show alumni has only gone and landed himself a role on the West End!

The singer, whose debut single 'That's My Goal' is the third fastest selling single of all time, is set to star in 80s themed Musical Rock of Ages this summer as shady rock bad boy Stacee Jaxx.

In an interview with the Sun newspaper Shayne said "It's a thrill to have been chosen for this part and I can't wait to show a new side to my voice. West End - prepare to rock!"

Shayne is currently in Boston on a promotional trail with radio stations and is set to perform at Boston Pride. Shayne's West-End debut starts August 17.

Shayne recently tweeted an Afrojack remixed version of his album track 'Must Be a Reason Why' featuring J Pearl set to be released June 20. If something like this had been offered up as his first single of his third album 'Obession' Ward would have soared up the charts.
