Melody Thornton has finally graced us with a solo debut...and what a debut it is. 'Sweet Vendetta' a funky, retro, powerhouse extraordinaire showcasing Melody's undeniably strong vocal talent is the first release to come from the former Pussycat Doll who has been working on her solo material for the better half of a year now.
Its got drums. Its got horns. Its got soul. Most important of all it hasn't got Nicole. Its got one sassy, sexy, dominating vocal machine Melody Thornton leading the way for once and its a refreshment to hear something raw to make its debut rather than an auto-tuned club banger.
Fans on pcdworld.co.uk's forum praised the track from the Don't Cha singer for its bold creative flare with one fan posting "I really like it. It's different and she sounds great on it, those notes towards the end are amazing."
