You heard right folks, 'Beat of My Drum' premiered in full for the first time ever today becoming Popjustice's 'Song of the Day' and gaining its first play ever on Radio 1 as Nicola herself stopped by tweeting a pic with DJ Scott Mills.
The Diplo produced track serves as Nicola's first offering away from the safety net of Girls Aloud and with obvious comparison to Cheryl Cole's success pre US X-factor axe of course and Nadine's insatiable flop, everyone is interested in how Roberts will fare. Perez Hilton has every faith in the gorgeous red head posting "This looks like it has the potential to really take off!...Sounds as though she's got a catchy hook, and we love her style in this one!"
