After her phenomenal masterpiece that was 'E.T' featuring Kanye West, it was always going to be difficult for Katy Perry to make an even better video. Now the California girl is back with the fifth single to be lifted from Platinum selling sophomore effort 'Teenage Dream', 'Last Friday Night'...and it doesn't look like Perry is set to top her last artistic venture if the recently released video teaser is anything to go by.
The Teenage Dream singer is however notoriously known for her epic 'fun-loving nature' with videos such as 'California Girls' in which she shot cream from her cupcake bra and 'Waking Up In Vegas' where she basically woke up in Vegas and had a hoot doing so. LFN promises to show a welcome return to Katy's 'I don't give a shit/I'm a funny bitch who doesn't take myself seriously' attitude. What a welcome return it is too! I adore a 'not-so-serious' Katy as does the rest of the world.
Katy tweeted fans with the news of her new video tweeting "Go to my facebook, www.facebook.com/katyperry and u'll see the TRAILER for my NEW video, LAST FRIDAY NIGHT coming out in ONE WEEK!" Posting a further tweet just an hour later "and btw, Last Friday Night is a total vapid, slut jam." We can't wait Katy. We can't wait.
The new trailer teases Katy in glasses and braces, an accidental boob-slip and throwing up in a shoe...check out all this and more in the clip below. 'Last Friday Night' hit US mainstream radio June 6. The video for the track will debut in full next week.
