Nicole Scherzinger stepped out from behind her expensive judging panel seat to take centre stage on the X-Factor US to perform brand new track 'Pretty'. And its pretty underwhelming to say the least. It also wasn't one of her best vocal offerings either.
Still no word on that OFFICIAL release of her debut solo album Stateside, Nicole must be getting pretty pissed, considering former bandmate Jessica Sutta beat her single 'Don't Hold Your Breath' to the top of the dance charts with her infectious 'Show Me' earlier this month.
Whilst radio promos 'Right There', 'Poison' and 'Try With Me' all failed to garner the attention the X-Factor judge craves. Now 'Pretty' looks set to follow the same suit. Six singles...no album. No major sales or chart successes? Time to call it a day Scherzy. I guess I'll hold off on my full opinion of the song until a full studio version drops. In the meantime...I hope you've got one hell of a video/remix/featured artist up your sleeve for this one Nic...you're going to need it.
Just a little extra bit of information, former Doll Kimberly Wyatt attended the X-Factor final last weekend, appearing on the Xtra-Factor for a few minutes saying a few sentences and instantly trended number 1 in the UK and number 2 Worldwide on Twitter as a result. Just saying.
Nicole's debut album Killer Love peaked here in the UK at number 8 on the UK album charts with a re-release in October earlier this year along with fifth single, the top twenty 'hit' 'Try With Me'. 'Pretty' is not featured on the UK re-release and no official radio dates, itunes dates or official release dates have been submitted.
