X-Factor finalists don't necessarily need to go home with the top prize on the award winning hit talent show these days what with JLS, Olly Murs and Diana Vickers all having obtained chart success and with Cher Lloyd having recently stormed the charts straight in at Number One with debut 'Swagger Jagger' fellow 2010 act One Direction have decided to chance their luck with new song 'What Makes You Beautiful'.
The track, which sounds a lot like a Westlife album title, debuted on Radio 1 and is a feel-good pop effort that should feature on a Glee episode. Credit to the five boys however, who were put together during the show's audition process to form a group, as they haven't brought out something overly auto-tuned with a dub-step breakdown in the mix which is what you would have expected from Zayn, Liam, Harry, Louis and Niall.
They definitely have that Busted/McFly sound going on right now and with their massive female fan base I'm sure there will be only ONE DIRECTION these boys will be headed...and thats the top of the singles charts come September.
One Direction signed a 2 million record deal with mentor Simon Cowell's Syco label following their exit from the show's final last year. 'What Makes You Beautiful' is officially released September 11.
