Frida Flutterby: New Dia de los Muertos Work

Hello Dewdrops! The studio is encrusted with glitter--I've been working on my creepy craft fair items full throttle. I've been bewitched by Frida Kahlo: I'm borrowing color pallets and themes from her work for my Dia de los Muertos collection. Here's a peep of the latest votive piece:



As the holiday is about rebirth and transformation, I decided that my Frida skelly should have butterfly wings. I'm having a ball cobbling trash and trinkets into new pieces. My favorite part is lighting the birthday candles and waiting for the wax to drip!
