The adventures of demon hunting brothers Sam and Dean Winchester are set to reunite the cast of one of sci-fi's most notorious evil fighting group to ever grace tv screens...that's right folks the Scooby Gang aka Buffy The Vampire Slayer's friends...or at least two of them.
Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia Chase) and James Marsters (Spike) who both starred on Joss Whedon's Buffy and hit spin-off Angel are set to star in the CW's seventh season of Supernatural.
Charisma, who has grabbed recurring roles on teen detective drama Veronica Mars and ABC's teen comedy Greek, will play a Witch scorned by her husband once her devilish secret is revealed. Bewitched anyone? Marsters, known for his roles on Torchwood and Smallville, will play Carpenter's husband in the episode.
Supernatural is no stranger to the Buffyverse having had previous guest star appearances from Amy Acker (Fred), Mercedes McNab (Harmony) and Amber Benson (Tara). Now all we need is SMG and David Boreanaz reunion on screen...that or some Eliza Dushku would go down a real treat.
Both Buffy/Angel alumni Carpenter and Marsters are scheduled to appear in the shows fifth episode when season seven returns to the CW Network on September 23.
