Action-Man Given Fashion Make-Over For Charity

Action-Man the greatest hero of them all! Agh those were the days...now it seems Action Man might be joining the more modern style orientated man if Men's Health's new charitable campaign is anything to go by. The men's fitness magazine has enlisted four top design brands to create 8 one of a kind Action-Men all kitted out in their Autumn offerings. The dolls will then be available for auction on Ebay in aid of real-life heroes injured in the line of duty.

The four designers hand picked are Topman, Evisu, Barbour and Christopher Raeburn. Personally I'm holding out for Dr X variations! Now those would be some awesome looks complete with his menacingly green fake hand!

Action-Man was launched in the UK in 1966 and was based on the original design of G.I. Joe. The eBay auction kicked off yesterday and is set to end on August 8 with the proceeds going to Help for Heroes.

Check out this rather quirky Youtube video on a fashionable Action-Man below.
