The Rise and Rise of Taylor Kitsch

Scrolling through the list of projects of Taylor Kitsch. Star of Disney's new Sci-Fi action/adventure flick John Carter. It becomes apparent he's not as unknown as previously imagined.

The Covenant alongside a young Chace Crawford back in 2006. A small role in Samuel Jackson's Snakes on a Plane also in 2006. He was the hot dude who banged the hot chick in the toilets and got his manhood bitten by a rattle snake. Needless to say he didn't recover. He also starred in the hit tv series Friday Night Lights and took on the comic book role of Gambit in the X-Men spin-off Wolverine Origins alongside Hugh Jackman.

A pretty impressive CV when it comes down to it. Then you go and fortunately type his name into Google images and he pretty much seals the deal on the spot. The arms. The hair. The chest. He's also being doing photoshoots and modelling for quite some time on the side. If that's not dedication I don't know what is.

The 30 year old actor has appeared in GQ, covered Men's Health on more than one occasion and attending countless red carpet events. Basically means Kitsch is moving up the style radar with a mix between Texan cowboy and all American man next-door look helping him do so.

Taylor Kitsch's big break John Carter cost over 200 million dollars to produce. John Carter was released in cinemas worldwide March 9.
