Marni at H&M Launch Party

Wednesday, March 7. The night I had the luxury of attending (and working, glamorous life of a PR) the Marni at H&M launch party in London at H&M's flagship store on Regent Street.

The trend-filled event, hosted in conjunction with Vogue and GQ meaning only VIPs and the magazines' readership were granted access, was simply spectacular.

Champagne. Vodka. Canapes. Not to mention frozen raspberry sorbet coated in white chocolate. I had three. Oh and there was also what could only be described as an army of Abercrombie & Fitch demi-god-like team of male models moonlighting as caterers. Two even spoke to me. Get in.

I also spotted and smiled at Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora, saying hello once or twice who both shopped the collection in a private VIP area located in the basement of the store. Whilst on the upper levels...Marni black screens showing the Sophia Coppola campaign ad on loop. Marni Mannequinns. Marginally vibrant canvases erected throughout.

Vogue and GQ's readers were then allowed access to browse and shop the collection at 6.30 with the first wave having annihilated the Marni areas by 6.40pm. Truly all-out manic mayhem for all things Marni at H&M.

All guests received a Marni at H&M gift bag complete with a one-off Marni silk scarf, a Marni notebook, and a complimentary copy of GQ's Olivia Wilde fronted new issue.

Marni at H&M hit selected stores and online at 9am Thursday, March 8. The collection is unsurprisingly sold out.
