20 year old former X-Factor finalist Diana Vickers, who shot to fame back in the talent show's fifth series televised in 2008, has premiered a snippet of her new single entitled 'Boy In Paris'.
The single will serve as the lead offering for Diana's sophomore effort following the success of her number 1 debut album 'Songs From the Tainted Cherry Tree' in 2010, a number 1 debut single 'Once', a west-end role, the face of a make-up and collection range and designed her own clothing line for very.co.uk. Not too shabby for fourth place.
Diana talked about the track via her blog stating "Boy in Paris’ is a track I worked on with the very talented David Gamson (who, in case you didn’t know, was in an awesome band from the 80s, Scritti Politti!) . What I love about it is that it reminds me of a kind of early Eurythmics sound with all the dark synyths but as a package is also a big pop song."
Diana Vickers previously premiered two promo tracks 'Music to Make the Boys Cry' and 'Kiss of the Bullet'. Both of which are available to download for free. Diana Vickers is set to appear at Manchester Ruby Lounge on February 8 and London Cargo February 9.
